Good mountian bike for me....?

I'm 6'0 and 200 lbs. I am going to spend 250-300 bucks. I don't want to here any " you can't get a decent bike for under $5000" stuff. I just want to know what a good mtb full susp or not would be for $300. Also what frame size would I need. I have looked at the schwinn protocol 1.0 and schwinn ranger.
