Neurosis and Art: any psychological inquiries?

I agree with Himedal's well developed point of view. Plus: The people "love" fatalism because they will die someday, it is the only absolute truth in everybody's life, so subconsciously they fall in love with their doom or destination. Very simple. I do not consider it dark though, it could be the gate to a better world, another multidimensional reality, a new beginning. Hades is for the simplest of people, Olympus (the Universe) for the more complicated. So, it is normal to love the expansion of your entity towards that integration of your even self.
