What to eat the day before a 50 mile ride and on the day?

Pasta the day before; I prefer fettucini, but any whole grain pasta is good. Stack on some protein, and pound the liquids. Drink a lot the morning of a ride, and try oatmeal or blueberry pancakes/waffles for breakfast. Munch as you ride on Powerbars or such and drink some Gatorade type products while you ride and you'll be fine.
