Is there anything the American people do about lobbyist?

Lobbyist have bought the U.S federal government and have made out like bandits at the expense of the American people ! How could this be fair ? There is nothing wrong with people having the ears of congress but the fact that these people have money to throw at politicians and make them do the will of the lobbyist even if that will Hurts everybody else .It gives them rights that nobody else has !Why would the American people stand for that ?The people who can afford to by congress have the right to do pretty much as they please ! Would it be better to limit the amount of money lobbyist can give any one politician ? Would it make sense for the American people would form their own lobbyist group or are we so divided that there is no way we could ever do it ! In America you can get as much of these two things as you can afford ,that justice and liberty !Corporate American has taken over America completely! The people have the power to change this but it seems no one really wants to change the cause of some of America's worst economic problems ! Sub prime leading,credit card companies screwing their customer in plain site ! Make it a law that politicians have to tell the public where every dime of corporate money comes from ! People could stop using those companies that are running capitalism wilde at the expense of the people !
