Are some clipless pedals OK for clipping in or not clipping in?

I know there are some pedals made by Shimano that are clipless on one side, and on the other side are platform (regular) pedals. So whichever you choose to ride, all you have to do is flip over the pedal to the other side. If you are not sure which type of pedal you want, or are in situations where you need to switch riding styles, I suggest you get the double sided pedals. You get both options!
