Does Oscar Wilde contradict his own philosophy on life?

In The Picture of Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde expresses his Hedonistic philosophy through Lord Henry and at the very end of the book, Dorian Gray finally realizes that living life for pleasure is wrong and evil.
